2023 is coming to a close. This last quarter has been hectic and, at times, tough. I’m still here… writing and thinking up new (weird) short story ideas about body parts and suicide rollarcoasters and working out the wrinkles in my tragic “Sand” story. Lord, I can’t wait to be done with that one.
“The Incomplete List of What I Lost” will be published in Rappahannock Review this month. I’ll share it, along with my interview about the piece.
I had the pleasure to speaking with Jennifer Dyan Ghoston on her wonderful podcast, “Once Upon A Time… In Adopteeland.” We talked about reunion and I read, “My Sister’s Octopus.”
FINALLY… this happened today! I could not be prouder to be nominated for Best Microfiction 2024. I know I’ve said it before, but My Sister’s Octopus is my favorite, most heartfelt piece.
Congratulations!👏🎉
Thank you!
